Oxygenate wishes an happy Songkran and a great new year to all our Thai Friends and Partners!
The Thai new year is celebrated from 13 to 15 April every year with Songkran. Its a burst of fun and energetic water-splashing and huge parties for kids and for adults. Something that should definitely be in your bucket list! (see some photos below)
The great news is that Songkran is back after 2 years without celebration.
But 2022 will not be the same as it used to be before covid. Some restrictions are in place: no foam (!), no flour (!!), no alcohol (!!!), wear mask (!!!!) and keep social distances (!!!!!). Well ok, but at least it’s not as dry as we feared prior to government annoucements. And even if the situation is more controlled now, the pandemic is not over, so keep safe!
We wish great fun to everyone during this celebration. I also wish that in this new year the amazing and beautiful Thailand will be back, stronger and happier than ever.
