Thailand celebrates Songkran, Happy new year!

Oxygenate wishes an happy Songkran and a great new year to all our Thai Friends and Partners!

The Thai new year is celebrated from 13 to 15 April every year with Songkran. Its a burst of fun and energetic water-splashing and huge parties for kids and for adults. Something that should definitely be in your bucket list! (see some photos below)

The great news is that Songkran is back after 2 years without celebration.

Malaysia regulates Cloud Services with license requirements from January 2022

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will be implementing a light touch regulation on cloud services that are operating in Malaysia. Effective from January 1, 2022, Malaysia has imposed a licensing requirement on the provision of cloud services, although it will only be enforced from April 1, 2022.

A new free trade agreement, covering 30.5% of the world economy, enters into force on 1 January 2022.
It eliminates 90% of tariffs among 15 East Asian countries: Thailand, China, Philippines, Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, and Vietnam.
